Micro-Star International this week brought in a dual-core, bare-bones mini-desktop for only $240.The machine is named, Wind NetTop D130 which is outfitted with an Intel Atom 330 dual-core processor and comes with DDR2 553MHz SDRAM, SO-DIMM Memory. Only 35 watts of electricity is required to run the system, which is much less than an average lighting bulb.
It comes with an DVD burner and can connect to digital TV for playing movies and pictures of user choice. The machine backs a stereo surround sound system of 7.1 Channel HD Audio.
This system is MSI's first dual-core NetTop. MSI also built the NetTop 100, which is powered by Atom 230 1.6-GHz processor and 945GC chipset.
System appearance is quite cool, it is roughly 12 inches by 9.5 inches by 2.5 inches, which holds 6 USB ports and a VGA port. Not only this, it also carry a mini-PCI express slot for a Wi-Fi card or to support a TV tuner card.
The desktop, which is almost a size of normal DVD player is the latest product by company in low end of the consumer PC market.
After launching of this supposed net-books reached about 5 million units world-wide in the fourth quarter of last year, and 10 million units is the total sale figure for the whole year, which accounted for 7% of overall PC shipments, according to IDC.

i guess it is first of its kind .. because before this no nettop box has embedded a processor in it.. look quite a fascinating device to me..
