Microsoft's Xbox with Whole New Package!

On Wednesday, Microsoft officially launched New Xbox experience, in service a combination of Xbox 360 gaming console and Xbox Live online network merge in platform for streaming Netflix movies, holding chat sessions, photo sharing and engaging in other digital activities.

"The future of home entertainment is Xbox 360," said Don Mattrick, Microsoft's senior VP for interactive entertainment, in a statement. "It's on-demand, it's high-definition, it's always social, it's all in one place."

Rental house Netflix provides HD movies and TV episodes in New Xbox Experience which is the nost compelling feature and can attract many consumers.
The Xbox 360 is the only gaming console capable of providing users with a direct link to Netflix.

New Xbox Experience, as the revamp is called, also will feature a revised user interface that, among other things, allows users to cycle through options as they would if they were using Windows Vista's Aero interface. Available games, movies, and TV shows are presented side by side and will be easier to find and access, Microsoft said.

Xbox Live party, a total new feature will let gamers to do parties up to seven peoples chat and can share pictures over a television screen and all this will play your favorite games.
Another new feature call, The Personality Plus tool will allow user to create its own customized avatars which will help to represent them in the world of Xbox.

Microsoft is trying to maintain its recent Xbox sales in the face of stiff competition from Nintendo's Wii and Sony's PlayStation unit. Recently, the company cuts price of its Xbox 360 video game console by 30% for some models like
Xbox 360 Arcade system fall from $279 to $199, The basic Xbox 360 model (60-GB hard disk) fall from $349 to $299. The high-end Xbox 360 Elite (120-GB hard disk) from $449 to $399.
